Mill Park Tennis Club is now accepting registrations for the DVTA Autumn 2026 Junior Competition.

Please ensure you read the following important information before committing to play.
Player and Parent/Guardian Obligations
All players and parents/guardians must abide by:

The Mill Park Tennis Club (MPTC) Code of Conduct and all other club policies at all times. For further information on club policies, please visit https://www.millparktennisclub.com.au/about-us/.
- The DVTA Code of Conduct and DVTA Code of Dress at all times.
Parents/guardians are also responsible for:

Ensuring children arrive on time for all home and away matches (as per team roster).

Notifying the team contact as soon as possible if a player is unavailable for a match.
By submitting a registration form, both players and parents/guardians agree to uphold these obligations. Penalties may apply from either MPTC or DVTA for non-compliance.
💰 Registration Fee
$40 per player
Payment Method
After teams are submitted to DVTA for grading, an invoice will be sent via Square, allowing you to pay the registration fee online.
🧾 Membership Requirement
To be eligible to play, all junior players must be financial members of Mill Park Tennis Club for the entire season.
You can meet this requirement by either:

Applying for a Junior Membership (per child), or

Applying for a Family Membership (covers 2 adults + 2 children; + $5 per extra child)
Note that if you opt for a Junior Membership, each child will require a separate membership.

🙋♀️ Volunteer Roles
Junior competition relies on our amazing volunteers!
Our Junior Coordinator, Paul Vassallo, acts as the club’s liaison with DVTA.
Parent Volunteer Roles Include:

Home Court Supervisor

Open courts and clubhouse prior to play

Mediate on-court disputes and ensure Codes of Conduct are followed

Team Manager (one per team)

Communicate roster to parents

Escalate any player unavailability’s to other team managers and the Junior Coordinator to organise a fill-in player.

Ensure canteen duties is run when your team is rostered
-
Ensure game scores are entered in the team’s scoresheet

Best practice tips for Team Managers:

Set up a WhatsApp group with all team parents/guardians
-
Monitor the WhatsApp group created by the Junior Coordinator
All Team Managers will receive an induction and ongoing support from the Junior Coordinator.
🧮 Selection Process
- Team selections are based on player’s performance statistics that each individual player gains from the last season of tennis, as reviewed during the MPTC Junior Match Committee meeting
- New players registering, may be asked to play a grading match against a current Mill Park player, to determine their appropriate playing standard
- Once teams are graded by DVTA, the decision is FINAL and CANNOT be changed by clubs
