Members resumed play on Saturday after rain interrupted play the previous week. Well done to everyone who played and congratulations to our Winners and Runners Up.
On Sunday 1st December play began for our Club Championship Singles matches with all fingers, and toes, crossed the day would stay dry but unfortunately mother nature was not kind to us and as the safety of our members is our priority the decision was made to call off all remaining games for the day.
Play will pick up where games left off on Saturday 7th December.
Our committee is very excited to announce that our new courts 5 and 6 are now available to use at our Mill Park location.
Members will be able to access all courts using the main entrance gate. All internal locks on gates will be removed giving members access to the area surrounding the clubrooms providing with shade/shelter and access to outside tap.
The new walkway area between courts 4 and 5 will remain as crushed rock for the time being due to the ground level difference between courts 4 and 5. This is why Council where unable to concrete this area. Run off would have flooded court 5 and caused significant damage. But this area will eventually be concreted, when courts 3 and 4 are upgrade in the near future.
Yesterday we saw perfect weather conditions for our annual Club Championship Mens and Womens Doubles Tournament. Spectators enjoyed the glorious sunshine as our members played some great tennis with a few laughs and a bit of fun for everyone. The winning partners were awarded a trophy and hopefully took home a few happy memories too.

The long awaited redevelopment of the clubs hard courts, has now started.
Club members with a hire key are now only able to access courts via the gate between courts 1 & 2.
We have lost quite a few car park spaces due to the storage of construction equipment.
Please be careful when walking in our car park as it is hard for any vehicles entering or exiting the car park to have a full view of pedestrians.
Any issues or concerns with the redevelopment can be directed to the club email or club secretary.
